Established in the year 1903 in Singapore, Cold Storage is an online grocery retailer. They first started as a home-grown merchant selling quality and fresh dairy products and meat. They emerged from a small cold store to become an icon of Singapore with a famous household name. They brought a number of retail concepts which are quite innovative. In the 1960s he brought the concept of supermarkets, bulk buying and multiple retailing. They started all these to enable their customers to save more. They are also the leaders of bringing exclusive and quality products from across the world to the people of Singapore. Currently, they have 3 brands namely Jasons, Market Place and Cold Storage. They have 53 stores across Singapore. To satisfy the different needs of the customers, they offer unique shopping experience and concepts. 

A quick journey of Cold Storage 

Cold Storage registered themselves in the year 1903 in Singapore as Singapore Cold Storage Company Limited. They offered cold storage and frozen mutton, beef, lamb, fresh butter, game, fresh fruits and also Australian products. In the year 1909, they established themselves in Malaysia. They set up their dairy farm in 1929 at forested land stretching over 60 acres. They acquired Royal Bakery in 1930 in Singapore and they ventured into the bakery business. In the year 1935, they began their delivery system right from 6.30 am. By 1953, they had 19 stores in Malaya and Singapore. They took their business online in Singapore in the year 1997. In 2003, it became the largest supermarket chain in Singapore. They also received several awards towards their journey.
