Features of industrial casters

A caster is a wheeled device attached to a larger object that enables easy movement and object rolling. Industrial casters are heavy-duty casters that are designed to carry heavy loads. A caster may be settled to rotate along a straight path or installed on a pivot such that the wheel will automatically adjust itself towards the required direction. Industrial casters have a flat top surface with four bolt holes to ensure a sturdy connection between the wheel and the load.

Rigid and swivel casters

An industrial caster may have either swivel or rigid design. A rigid caster consists of wheels mounted to a stationary fork. Rigid casters can move only in forwarding and backward directions.
