Paper stars in sizes from 20 cm to 80 cm form a main part of the lighting section, and the goods overall are drawn from the markets and bazaars of India, Thailand, Nepal, Indonesia and Morocco. Guru-Shop.de brings small pieces from those countries together in one German-language shop, including incense sticks and wooden stamps from India. Many items are sold in set sections, so a buyer can switch between clothing and candles without leaving the same shop.

Clothing takes up a large share of the shop, with separate sections for women, men and children. The women's section includes an Organic Collection, a yoga line, and kimonos, pyjamas, skirts and tunics. A red patchwork Aladin trouser, styled for the hippie look, sits among the summer pieces. Silver earrings, pendants, nose rings and toe rings form the jewelry section, and incense comes as sticks from India, Tibet, Nepal, Bali and Thailand.

Lighting includes Asian paper and fabric lampshades, driftwood lamps and shell lights sold as Ocean Lights. Home decor includes Buddhas, animal figures, dream catchers, prayer flags, felt decorations and block-printed bedspreads with mandala patterns. Musical instruments, felt egg warmers and fridge magnets add to the home section, and a separate area offers refurbished and second-quality lamps.

The returns page sets out the German consumer right of withdrawal, which gives buyers thirty days to send back an order. The page is written in German and quotes the legal definition of a consumer, so it reads as a formal legal notice rather than a general policy.
