Info About OSKA & OSKA Store

OSKA has been a womenswear label since 1998, when it released its first collection inspired by Japanese designers. Its approach rests on a minimalist handling of cuts and a colour scheme the label developed itself. The brand says it is not chasing fast fashion; its bestsellers return each season in reinterpreted forms, so that the label renews its range while keeping its own identity. The company is based in Munich and describes its garments as made in Europe.

The label's silhouettes carry much of its identity. Six named cuts, the A, the Box, Slim, the H, the O and the V, form the trademark shapes. Colours are chosen to be coloured yet never colourful, with around twenty new shades each season, garment-dyed to order. Natural fibres are the base of the collection, mainly produced in Europe, and every cloth is tested to the Oeko-Tex Standard 100.

OSKA sets out durability as a goal. Its garments are meant to keep their fit and appearance well past a third season of wear. Sustainability is treated as a starting point for each collection, from fibre choice through to the people working at the machines. The label also sells wholesale to retailers and is recruiting, describing itself as a team of female fashion makers that is growing.
