Its Eco Logic Pro QXR sealing uses 30% less energy in production and is made from natural quartzite, and it is used across frying pans, woks and crêpe pans. Norbert Woll GmbH began in 1979, when Norbert Woll, a keen cook, started developing his own pans because he was dissatisfied with the equipment in his kitchen. He went to considerable lengths for quality: he had freshly cast blanks from the Sauerland driven to Switzerland, because no one there matched the sealing specialists in the Valais. Since 1997 André Woll has run the company with his mother, Ursula, keeping the same standard for products and production.

Every item is conceived, developed, designed and produced at a factory in Saarwellingen, Saarland, built so that the company's full potential could be combined under one roof. Swiss surface-finishing know-how moved there too, and raw materials still come from the neighbouring country because none are better. Production in Germany lets the team work quickly and flexibly, and the designers' office sits a short walk from the melting furnace. Plasma-coated surfaces allow nearly fat-free frying, the Diamond Lite series is the bestseller, and Eco Lite QXR is the PFAS-free line. Carbon Steel, stainless Steel and Cut & Serve cutting boards complete the range.
