Nyfter was founded in 2019 when Alex and Christof, two gaming and esports enthusiasts, turned their passion for the hobby into a company based in Germany. Gamers and setup fans quickly joined the project, and the brand now has close to half a million social media followers. Its first product was the Nyf20, and in 2022 the launch of the Nyf22 and the Nyfboard brought a full product range back to competitive esports, a link the company still emphasises through its own esports organisation.

The core of the product line is mousepads. The Nyfpad XXL and 3XL come in designs such as Sakura, Liquid, Koi and Arctic Camouflage, and the brand also offers RGB-lit and custom mousepads. Keyboards include the Nyfboard Gen2 in 60% and 75% layouts and the wireless Nyfboard HE 82K 2.0 with Hall-Effect switches. Other gear covers the Nyf ELT 4K wireless gaming mouse, gaming arm sleeves, keycap sets and the Gaming IEM Mizu V2 in-ear monitors. For the 2026 season, the brand released an Advent calendar in three versions, each with 24 doors and shipping from early November.

Community input shapes the company's development process, and its founders say the aim is equipment that esports athletes can perform with. Alex leads product development and logistics, Christof handles marketing and business development, Laura runs customer support, and Jan manages logistics and IT. Customer ratings average 4.8 out of 5 from 688 reviews, with buyers praising the lightweight mouse and the LED colours of the mousepads.
