The Bygone Days of Vitamin A
Amahlia, the founder of Vitamin A, previously worked on design projects with Yvon Chouinard, who is an environmentalist and also the founder of a company called Patagonia. Patagonia was known for its use of recycled plastic bottles in their technical fibres. This inspired Amahlia to take the risk of experimenting on the same in the swimwear space. In the incubation period, Amahlia inferred that there was no market for swimwear made up of recycled fabrics, and hence she decided to design the fabric herself.
