Tim Waterstone founded Waterstones bookstore in the year of 1982 and as of now, is a major bookstore chain in Britain. It has around 280 bookstores located across the United Kingdom and Europe and is one of the last surviving bookstore chains that have fought its way through constant growth and development.

A wide range of books, e-books, children’s and teen’s books, stationery supplies and gift sets are available at Waterstones Bookstores. Their books can range from genres like fiction, non-fiction, thriller, mystery and they also have an academic book as well. They host various events and offer many discounts on their products. They have their own online blog where you can find many book recommendations, lifestyle articles and can participate in various contests or giveaways.
Waterstones Plus Card and Waterstones Plus Student Card
Waterstones has implemented a special Waterstones Plus Card and Waterstones Plus Student card where they will receive a special stamp card which is to be filled with at least 10 stamps to earn points and rewards. A customer will receive one stamp for every £10 spent on purchasing from their store or online. Once the stamp card is filled, a customer can avail a bonus of £10 in points which can be used as discounts for their future purchases. However, a customer is needed to present the filled stamp card in-store to avail the bonus points. The rewards scheme is similar for both Waterstones Plus and Waterstones Plus Student with the exception that students get to enjoy an additional 5% discount on their purchases.
Customers can buy from Waterstones either from their physical stores or through their official website. They can also order online or through their smartphone application and collect their order from the nearest store. Currently, Waterstones offers delivery of their products within UK only.
