Aeris builds its chairs around a movement system it calls 3D technology, first developed 25 years ago for the Swopper chair. The seat moves in three dimensions. Forward and back, a low joint lets the upper body tilt toward the work surface while the pelvis keeps the back straight. Side to side, the hip allows reaching without twisting the spine. Up and down, the seat's motion alternately loads and relieves the spinal discs, which Aeris presents as keeping them supplied and as helping to prevent or ease back pain.

The Swopper is the company's best-known chair, and its Numo, Task, Oyo and Linu models extend the same idea to other office setups. Muvmat anti-fatigue mats and the Active Desk, which has a built-in reminder to change posture, cover standing work. The Active Office Desk has a split tabletop so users can switch between sitting and standing without moving their setup. Spare parts and services are offered for the chairs.

Aeris marks 30 years in business in its current catalogue. Products are sold directly through the company's own online store, which has separate sections for professionals and an outlet. Authorised dealers can be found through a dealer search. Delivery covers Germany and selected countries on the European mainland, though not overseas European territories. The company's products are described for home offices, living rooms and offices, as well as for industrial and laboratory settings.
