Nuts.com is an online retailer started by the company's grandfather “Poppy” Sol in 1929. Originally named the Newark Nut company, today they are one of North America's largest providers for nuts and other snacks.
History
In 1929, Sol started his company in the open markets of Mulberry Street in New Jersey. His reputation quickly and exponentially grew for providing customers with the best quality of nuts, sourced locally and roasted to perfection for the best aroma and flavour.
Now in their third generation, two cousins, David and Jeff run the company. In 1999, they started NutsOnline due to the massive amount of orders they've been receiving and this online store rocketed to fame. With over 2,000 different products, by 2011, they were one of America's largest retailers.
Appearing on news and shows such as CNBC, New York Times, Racheal Ray, The Huffington Post, and BuzzFeed among many many others, in 2012, after many a slip of the tongue, they decided to rebrand themselves to just “Nuts.com.”
